ABOUT ME

Hello,
I'm Lukáš Lukeš, a visual artist from the Czech Republic, born in 1994. I started making art when I was 14 and have been orbiting around visual expression ever since. Somewhere along the way, I took a detour chasing the dream of becoming a rock star — which didn’t quite pan out — and in 2015, I found my way back to art, this time with more focus, intention, and fewer guitar solos.

Since then, I’ve held three solo exhibitions, and my work has found its way into homes and private collections around the world.

I draw inspiration from the expansive world of music and the mesmerizing realm of psychedelia. This fusion gives birth to a style that combines vivid, hallucinatory elements with the simplicity of minimalism. I like to call my style "psychedelic minimalism".

I enjoy working across various techniques, but I have a particular fondness for cut-out and linocut processes, which allow me to stay hands-on and present in each stage of creation.
